These are some sample renders of this very detailed model, and yes, it's a prime example of detail addition, a common condition most 3D modellers suffer from at one time or another. yes-I am a long-time sufferer and a hopeless case; note the bolts; they are actually modelled .

One of the most important things any modeller needs is reference material, and in this case, what's available is about as good as it's possible to get. There are two volumes, which are basically books of super-accurate blueprints. If you want to model this gun, these are all you need.
