Collection of Animal shots from my visit to Taronga Zoo

After living on Sydney's lower north shore for several decades and never visiting the zoo, I decided to change that after adding a new lens to my camera collection. I headed out to Taronga Zoo, and this gallery is the result.

As for the above shot, this was one of the first taken with my new lens, it was taken from about 70m away, through a thick net, and just as the tiger woke up and looked right at me. A real case of the right place at the right time.
