Having been working basically continuously for the better part of the last 40 years, in multiple industries all over the planet, so from time to time I come across products or services which I really like, and recently was asked to submit some google reviews.

Thats all well and good, but it got me thinking, that I may be able to help some of the products of service providers I like, by writing a full detailed review.

And no, this is nothing to do with getting anything free, as for the products and services reviewed here, I have paid the same as everyone else.

People said it would never happen, that I would never join any sort of gym, but where they all wrong, as after my back went out yet again, and on the recommendation of a work colleague, I went to see Kieser for physio therapy, and ended up joining their strength training program.

This is the tale of my journey with them and how things improved.

Singapore is one of my favourite places to visit, being tied at first place with Hong Kong, so now with the whole CoVID mess seeming to be finally coming to an end, both the timing and finance allowed for the first trip in way too many years.

Normally I would stay at the Marina Mandarin, but during the planning phase of the trip, a friend suggested I give the Carlton a try, as its going to save some money, and according to my friend is just as good if not better than the Marina Mandarin.

So, trusting this old friend, I decided to give it a go, and after reading multiple reviews did the deed and made the booking for July 2022.

This review is how my stay went, with general comments on the room, location and service. Just be aware that I am not known for sugar coating anything, and no, I did not get any discounts or any other benefit from the hotel for writing this review.

And yes I am aware that the Marina Mandarin has been rebranded as the Park Royle Collection, but there are many of these in Singapore, so I just refer to the one I used to stay in, by its old name. [read]
